How Can I Help?

Helping our residents return to self-sufficiency in the community requires the combined efforts of a decatherines_house_volunteerdicated staff and motivated volunteers. We need your time and talents to help our residents reach their goals. At right, South Point student, Houston Barnette, puts some finishing touches on a mural he painted for the nursery at Catherine's House.

Volunteers are a special part of our program. They exemplify community spirit and concern. They also bring a different perspective to the program and enhance the lives of our residents.

Catherine's House welcomes you as a volunteer. Call and ask to speak with Sister Mary Carmelita Hagan, Volunteer Coordinator & Facility Manager at Catherine's House! You can reach her at 704 825 9599.

volunteerYou can help by answering phones and doors, babysitting, transporting residents, housecleaning, gardening, tutoring, facilitating educational or recreational activities for the children, mentoring, assisting with mailings or conducting workshops.
